Office Property Highlight: The Philippine Stock Exchange / PSE Tower - Office Spaces for Lease and Sale - Inventory Update

One Bonifacio High Street is a mixed-use development by Ayala Land Premier at the very heart of BGC. Completed in the year 2017, it is composed of a luxury shopping mall, a high-end boutique residence, and an office tower that is now currently the unified headquarters of the Philippine Stock Exchange (joining previous Makati and Ortigas offices).


It sits within the same 3-hectares block together where five-star hotel Shangri-la at the Fort is parted in between by BGC’s famous retail walkway–High Street and is fronting 5th Avenue–the district’s most prime avenue and one of the main thoroughfares.


In this article, we will be highlighting the office tower of One Bonifacio High Street, referred to as PSE Tower–its location, design, amenities, and technical specifications.

Location


The PSE Tower is located at 28th Street corner 5th Avenue, BGC, Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines.


5th Avenue is one of the district's main thoroughfares where you can also find, Bonifacio High Street, Shangri-la at the Fort, The Ascott at BGC and lining up as well are famous multinational companies such as Sunlife Canada, ING Bank, Procter & Gamble, Lazada and Infor to name a few.

Accessibility

Being in a block area, the tower can be accessed from different entry points aside from its main entrance along 28th. There are multiple bus stations within its vicinity, all within a 5-minute walk.

If you are also up for an exercise, you can do a leisure walk (approximately 1.2 km) by strolling the entire High Street to its northern end--Market-Market-- which is where you can find the terminal hub for PUJs, buses and UVs.

Support Services

The PSE Tower does not lack at all when it comes to support services being that it's a mixed-use development with its own commercial retail mall. It is also right across Bonifacio High Street and Central Square.


In case of emergencies, to St. Luke’s Medical Center-BGC is just at the corner of 5th and 32nd which is 1-2 minutes away. The BGC Police and Fire Emergency Response Team is also very close, located at 5th and 26th.


Building Design


The project was designed by global firm Handle Architects LL together with Locsin Architecture and GF Partners as the local firms. Handel Architects, who also designed Shangri-La intended to use the complimenting masses and materials so that these structures will complement each other. Together, they create a unique effect of a multi-level urban plaza flanking a shared pedestrian retail corridor.


According to Ayala's website, "One Bonifacio High Street is BGC’s crown jewel, the final puzzle piece that completes Bonifacio High Street as a one-kilometer retail expanse—the city’s shopping, dining and entertainment centerpiece, where all street life culminates."


Its building facade is hard to miss as it features an LED ticker box that is activated during trading hours which brings excitement not only on the trading floors but as well as outside the building including passing traffic. Its triangular drop-off canopy also brings out a unique shape that adds character to its facade.

The building features a grand roundabout drop-off along 28th.



Upon walking inside PSE Tower, you are greeted in a grand, high-ceiling entrance lobby with reception services and zoned elevators to ensure that foot traffic in the building is well-managed.


The PSE Tower will also house a museum that will feature various mementos to showcase the rich history of PSE and its predecessor bourses. The PSE is considered as one of the oldest stock exchanges in Asia, having been in operation since 1927 when the Manila Stock Exchange, Inc. (MSE) was established.
